Of all areas treated, men benefit from liposuction of the abdomen and flanks the most.  This zone is often called the love handle area.  The chest is an area that becomes flabby with fat deposits even in fit males.   Vaser liposuction-liposculpture  resolves this nicely.  Of course the neck, jowls, and jaw line can benefit a male greatly just as well as it can a female.  The thighs and buttocks are less common areas treated in men but there are candidates.   Even men who are quite fit can experience a lipodysproportion or lipodystrophy of an area.   Just as we can be born with large noses or ears that stick out, we can also have congenitally prominent areas that collect fat despite our best efforts.  In my practice I have treated 27 marathon runners who had a lipodysproportion of one area or another.  Thanks, Dr Commons   650.328.4570.   www.facebook.com/plasticsurgery1.
