Nose Job

Nose surgery is very successful and fun.

Nasal surgery...nose job...rhinoplasty...all mean the same.  The nose can be made bigger or smaller.   The crooked nose can be straight.  A dorsal hump can be reduced.  The nostril flare can be reduced.   A weak bridge can be lifted.   Nasal bones can be narrowed.  The nasal tip can be made smaller and sculpted.  And much more.   Nasal surgery is one of my favorite surgeries.

What is the mommy makeover.   The usual operations done to restore pre pregnancy beauty and figure include breast augmentation and or breast uplift, the tummy tuck, liposculpture, thigh lifts, buttocks lift, and arm lifts.   Of course all of these are not indicated in any given person .  The approach is to select what would be beneficial and what the patient desires.   Once selected, it may be possible to accomplish all of these procedures at one surgery, or they can be staged over several, depending on individual desire.  Goals include restoration of an attractive breast contour, a flat youthful stomach, and  correction of lipo dysprooportions wherever they occur.  This selection of procedures remains the most popular plastic surgery in the world.  Call for information, 650.328.4570.

What can be done to help scars deminish in redness?

   The redness noted in all scars early on is normal and in 3 to 6 months will fade.   Unfortunately some scars thicken and stay red with retained excess and unnecessary vascular content.   Laser treatments will help as will botox possibly and at times steroid creams and injections   Silicon paste to cover the scar or silicon sheeting also helps.  Scars can almost always be improved.  Call for information.  Thanks, Dr Commons
